Tournament Overview
The North Carolina Open is an official Southern Swing Tour event hosted at Lakeview Putt and Play. Players compete in individual stroke play, with divisions for Professionals and Amateurs.
Whether you’re competing in the Pro division or Amateur field, this event brings together top players for a full day of championship-level play in Western North Carolina.
Format & Schedule
Lowest total score wins in each division. Pairings will be posted Friday, September 11 by 5:00 PM.
Pro Division
5 rounds of individual stroke play
Amateur Division
3 rounds of individual stroke play
Junior Division
Ages 12–17 can compete
2 rounds of individual stroke play
Top 3 finishers can win trophies and medallions
Entry fee: $20
Tournament Flow
8:00 AM: Arrival, check-in, and open practice
9:00 AM: Tournament begins (rolling start from Hole #1)
Pairings posted: by 5:00 PM Friday, September 11
Rounds 1–3: Played in posted pairings
Lunch Break: 1 hour between Rounds 3 and 4 (after last Pro finishes Round 3)
After Amateur Round 3 is complete, the course opens for practice
Rounds 4–5 (Pros): Re-paired based on score
Playoffs
If first place is tied in any division, a 3-hole playoff (Holes 1, 7, and 12) will determine the champion. Sudden death will follow if necessary.
Practice Information
Practice is available during the week of the tournament.
$10 per day (week of event)

Course opens at 7:00 AM on Saturday

Pro Division – $2,500 Purse
1st – $750 + Custom Trophy
2nd – $450
3rd – $310

- 2026 Season Pass + Trophy (1st Place)
- Additional prizes for top finishers

Note: Players competing in the Pro division must be a member of the USPMGA (The US Pro Mini Golf Association).

Scoring & Equipment
Official scoring will be conducted through Squabbit with paper scorecard backup.
